Common questions

Why does Fardh ask for my location?
Prayer times and the Qibla direction depend on where you are. Your coordinates are sent to the AlAdhan prayer times service to calculate them, nothing is stored, and nothing else is collected. See the privacy policy.
My prayer times look slightly different from my mosque's.
Mosques follow a specific calculation method. Open Fardh's settings and choose the method your community uses. 24 methods are supported, including ISNA, Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, and more.
Notifications aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Fardh in iOS Settings → Notifications, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them. Opening the app refreshes the upcoming schedule.
The widget isn't updating.
iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule. Opening the app updates the timeline immediately; otherwise it refreshes periodically throughout the day.
